TECHNICAL TRAINING:
You will acquire proficiency in essential coding languages and frameworks highly sought after by current IT employers, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and APIs. The training is centered around practical problem-solving, utilizing workplace tools such as Confluence, Slack, Jira, GitHub, and others. This comprehensive foundation will empower you to excel in various IT roles:
Create Mobile and tablet responsive webpages
Create basic web applications
Problem solve, debug and fix issues
Apply Agile development protocols and use GitHub
Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC)
SOFT SKILLS TRAINING & CAREER PREPARATION:
In our soft skills training and career preparation program, you will refine your study skills, teamwork, communication, and leadership abilities. We guide you in entering the job market by providing support in portfolio building, career planning, access
to labor market information, resume writing, employment search strategies, and interview skills.
Upon completion, you will be well-equipped to explore employment opportunities in web development, application development, or pursue further learning in diverse programming domains such as animation and game design.

You must:
Be between 17 and 29 years old
The participant must be a young adult between the ages of 17 and 29.
Be facing barriers to education and/or employment
The participant must have left high school, be at-risk of leaving high school, or have completed high school and is still facing educational and/or employment barriers or personal challenges.
Live in Kenya & Somalia
The participant must live in Somalia speaking regions.
Be a passionate learner
The participant must have an interest in coding/programming and be enthusiastic about learning.
